Jacob L. Montanez is a retired 20 year US Navy Veteran. He served his entire naval career in the nuclear field as a mechanic on submarines and associated training platforms. Now living in upstate New York with his wife and children, he works in microprocessor manufacturing. A life-long reader of fantasy and science fiction, he has enjoyed writing short stories in both genres for decades, as well as maintained healthy e-mail correspondence with his wife while deployed. Upon retirement he began writing “The Lightblessed Saga” during NaNoWriMo 2021. After years of development, he is finally ready to present it to the world. His other hobbies include making content on TikTok and YouTube, playing World of Warcraft, and catching up on event TV shows. His current favorite is Arcane.
